Natalie Green

Natalie GreenNatalie has been teaching at CALD as an EAP tutor since 2015 and currently teaches on the International Foundation Programme (IFP), Pre-Sessional (PS) and the Academic Language and Literacy (ALL).

She began teaching in 1990 and spent around 30 years teaching in Spain, mostly in Barcelona, but also Madrid and Valencia. She has been an ELT teacher, an ESP/EAP teacher, a schoolteacher (English Literature and French), Cambridge examiner, and run her own language school. She has worked at the British Council, UAB (the Autonomous University of Barcelona), ESADE Business and Law School, and the UOC (the Open University of Catalonia) doing online courses. She speaks Catalan, Spanish and French.

Apart from the University of Bristol, she has worked for the University of Leicester in a transnational university in north-eastern China and at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. She has a CTEFLA and DTEFLA from International House and a PGCEi (international) from the University of Nottingham. In 2022 she completed her MA TEAP with the University of Nottingham, and her dissertation was on collaboration between content and language teachers in EMI (English Medium Instruction), and this remains her main research interest. She is a member of the BALEAP EMI SIG committee, holding the Events Officer role. She has recently presented in the BALEAP conference (2025) on Collaboration between Content and Language teachers in EMI, at the BAS Event (2025) on putting EAP principles into practice within an institution.
