Alec joined the centre in 2021 as an IT admin assistant, becoming an Assistant Learning Technologist the following year. Alec uses his background in technology to develop CALD’s use of Technology Enhanced Learning, with a particular interest in improving User Experience for accessibility and modernisation of teaching tools. Outside of work, Alec enjoys travelling running and art, employing his recently acquired CELTA qualification to teach English abroad as a volunteer.
