Catriona has been an EAP Teacher at the Centre since 2018. She teaches on the International Foundation Programme (IFP) and the Academic Language and Literacy (ALL) courses.
She has been teaching English for over 20 years for a number of institutions, in the UK as well as in Italy and Spain. Before moving to Bristol in 2015, she worked at International House London for 9 years: EAP tutor for the University Foundation Programme, ELT teacher for General English and exams, Teacher Trainer for CELTA and Delta courses, Academic Manager and IELTS examiner. She has also written materials for several course development projects.
Having worked as an online tutor on distant and blended courses, she is interested in how different VLEs can be used to connect people worldwide and enhance learning. Other research interests include textual analysis and teaching lexically and she still enjoys learning about different languages and cultures.
