Jo is a UK-based Educational Development and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) professional, and currently Assistant Professor (Educational Development) at the University of Warwick Academic Development Centre (ADC). Jo is a Senior Fellow of HEA, Fellow of BALEAP, Member of BERA, Associate Member of LCT Centre for Knowledge-Building, an academic journal peer reviewer, and external examiner. Her expertise includes HE curriculum development, teacher education, teaching EAP on foundation, UG, PG programmes, and, recently, practitioner research. She is passionate about teaching, learning, research, and sharing knowledge on curriculum development, education for social justice, and the union of theory and practice. Her doctoral research investigates the social impact of an EAP curriculum for change.
