Kerry has been working at CALD as an EAP Tutor since May 2020. She teaches on the IFP, ALL and pre-sessional programmes. She also teaches on an academic writing course at UWEBIC. Prior to this she taught in EAP roles at Sheffield University and Sheffield International College. She has also worked in a number of different countries teaching young learners and adults General and Business English and IELTS. She managed teacher training and literacy programmes in refugee camps on the Myanmar–Thailand border. She is currently undertaking a master’s in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh to pursue her interest in how EdTech is influencing Education.Kerry Boakes
