Rachel Wall

Rachel has been an EAP Teacher at the Centre since 2014. She teaches on the Pre-sessional courses (PS), International Foundation Programme (IFP) and Academic Language and Literacy (ALL) courses. 

In addition to working in Bristol, she has taught English in France, Spain, Russia, Italy and Birmingham and has specialised in English for aviation, English for business, English for refugees and asylum seekers and English for exam preparation. As a keen linguist she also speaks French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

As a lover of travel and the intrigues of the human mind, she also has an MSc in international relations and has worked for several NGOs and research organisations. Research interests include motivation, barriers to autonomy, the use of advanced technology in learner development, legitimation code theory, educational psychology, and environmental justice in an unequal world.
